Today we were at the studio and we heard crows calling out.

M went to brownies today and they are working on a badge where they make puppets and put on shows.

I will be at the princess machine...watching ice skaters in outfits.

Settling down...what a weekend!

Back to being Mommy today.

As you know L and I did lots of celebrating this weekend.
Reconnecting after our many trips and busy times.
Made new promises...vows...searched high and low for new rings...honored the past 11 (14) years together.

It was a roller coaster of a weekend...now we have to go back to the rest of the world.
These times when we recharge are so vital.
Thank goodness we have them and the opportunities to use them...and the smarts to act on them.

I have returned home.

I am feeling rested and grounded.
I am happy about the place I am in.  It was wonderful to spend time with an old friend and bond...and have our kids love each other with a similar intensity.

I go into this last year of my 30's wide eyed. 
The 30's were good to me.
I remember when I turned 30...and got my big croc tattoo  on my back...now it has many friends :) and I look back on my accomplishments.

I wonder what tattoo I will finish the decade with.  Haa
In my 30's I...

-finished my masters

-had a baby

-bought a house

-established myself in the community in mental health

-said good-bye to an old friend (Abra the crazy dingo)

-took care of my mother

-welcomed a new friend (Oscar the crazy beast)

-got laid off

-opened a business
I know there was more...but these are highlights...
And all through it was lucky to have my soul mate (i know...sounds cheesy but it's true)...and my dear friends...along the way...supporting and loving me back.

Feeling kind of nostalgic today :)

Now I have to go and unpack all the crap from the beach.
