finished art...took down a show...
It's true.
Man life is busy....
Last week we had another First Friday opening in our studio.
It is the art of youth 18 & younger.
It's really a cool show...it was quite a treat to see the faces of the kids walking around and snapping shots infront of their pieces.
M has a six pieces in the show...I'll put some images up later.
We also hosted a Spring Art Sale and had 6 artists and all of our stuff....on Sunday...got sick...
L came home and even though this was incredibly stress relieving...I still found myself completely busy.
We are going to be in the PDX Magazine June edition. yay!
They came on Friday night and took a ton of pictures. Also did a short interview.
It's exciting how things just keep moving!
So...today is my day off...I am going to M's classroom to do an art project with them.
we are doing stepping stone...hope I remembered my camera from the studio.
I am going to be in their class two more times this year...once to do some treasure boxes and another to bring choc. fondue...(I do this at the end of every school year in M's class)

so I have to go and visit all my neighbors....maybe more tonight :)

L is off on a 17 day trip in London...Italy...must be rough right?

I'm holding down the fort...don't worry L...I'm ok...
I just totally geeked out and watched x-men 3...started to do deep clean on a few areas in my life...
What a crazy week.
I have three new clients alone this week AND we are having more and more people come into the studio. It's really exciting. I need to write, but I also need to do art and on the biggest home front...and most important...I had to do some parenting this week that was in uncharted territory...at least being on the "law" side.
M lied to us...it was a silly kindergartner type lie, but we had to do consequences to nip this lying thing in the bud...and at one point when we gave the consequence...she was melting down and I had to turn my bodyso she couldn't see my face because I couldn't let her see I was about to giggle a little bit at her. BAD MOMMY...
Thank goodness L was still home, but I felt bad for him because this was the night before he left for this 17 day galavant.
Working all weekend, but next weekend I will be taking my kid to the beach with a friend and her kids...(and lots of good food and wine)...
So...I continue to do fly bys...and occasionally visit you all...

it's first Friday this week so tomorrow I hang the show...
we also have too many project going on.
At least my pieces are already completed this time.
I will resurface soon I promise, but I will post photos...
